THE MISSION TRANSITION
Creating your tailored roadmap for success in career, business and leadership beyond the military
The Mission Transition was created to help you cut through the overwhelming part of journey you may face transitioning out of the military with a roadmap of actionable steps that will get you to your goal. In my recruitment career I have worked with many veterans and their questions were the same. There are both conscious and unconscious biases about veterans in the marketplace. Being unprepared to combat them can result in your being underpaid, undervalued and underemployed.
Where this coaching practice is different is that I have 35 years of experience in recruitment and HR hiring at every organizational level and in multiple industries. The knowledge I gained of how HR works, compensation and hiring managers hire will give you clear cut knowledge to create a roadmap that extends beyond hiring process to onboarding into an organization successfully. Bottom line for you is that I know how the game is played, what works and how NOT to sell yourself short!

Peg has been nothing short of amazing. Her insight and counsel have been superb! I was grossly underselling myself, and Peg helped me see this fact and correct it. She was able to coach me through difficult interview
topics, questions, and how to build and sell my story. I landed a position with my #1 company (John Deere), and I certainly owe my success as a transitioning veteran to her. She is not like these other career coaches out there
(Overpriced and underperform). Her 35 years of recruiting experience shows and makes her a strong coach!

Peg was awesome. She was recommended by a military friend who had recently retired, and she helped make his transition from the military to the civilian sector successful. She was very knowledgeable, and she helped me develop a targeted resume which landed me several job offers and the current role I’m filling as an Aviation Project Manager. I tried getting help from other services and I couldn’t even get to the interview process but quickly after she guided me, I began to get callbacks, which greatly reduced the stress level I was feeling as I was nearing retirement. She was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for everything.

Meeting Peg was one of the most serendipitous moments of my life. Peg is one of those people who genuinely and unapologetically cares for her fellow human. Recently retired from the Air Force, I received a LinkedIn message from her offering to help me with my transition. I had no idea how much of an impact should have on me not only just as a person but not only just as a transitioning veteran but as a person. Peg helped me to find my story and learn how to tell it in a way that resonated with recruiters. She vastly improved my resume writing skills to the point where a recruiter told me later that it was one of the best if not the best resume he’s ever seen written, and they were extremely impressed. Thanks to Peg I was able to land a job making north of 100K coming straight out of the service and that met my goals. Peg has been vitally important to me as a coach and as a friend.

I was transitioning from the military after 20 yrs. and reached out to Peg for help. I was completely lost on what the civilian world needed. She reworked my resume, taught me about interviews, helped me negotiate salary and gave me good feedback when I need it. She is a great human being and great at being able to dissect what help you need and coaching you on that. She has a gift for coaching and mentoring and it extends way past the job search. I would totally recommend her to anyone.
